Free Cakes for Kids Fort Worth was founded in April 2011 by Dorothy Arrington. Free Cakes for Kids is a nationwide non-profit organization.

Free Cakes for Kids Fort Worth will, through the many volunteers, provide children within the Fort Worth area (Fort Worth, Lake Worth, Azle, Aledo, Benbrook etc., though we will do our best to accommodate ANY request we receive) whose parents or families are experiencing financial hardships with a free, no cost, birthday cake for their birthday. The only request that we have is that you use this service ONLY if your family is really in need of a cake for your child and you are otherwise unable to afford a cake. No family will be charged for the cake provided to them by Free Cakes for Kids Fort Worth, all fees for the cake will be out of pocket for the volunteers of the organization.
